The 1970 PHS grad succumbed to cancer earlier this month at the age of 55 at a hospice center in Texas. Last spring the Piggott Lady Mohawks saw their season end in the first round of the district tournament at Brookland at the hands of the upstart Lady Bearcats. Basketball fundraiser (03/05/08)
A basketball skills fundraiser has been planned for Saturday, March 15 at the old Piggott High School gym with the proceeds going toward the medical bills of Erica Rickman. Activities are scheduled to get underway at 9 a.m. with registration, and will be going on throughout the day. The highlight of the event will be held at 7 p.m. that evening with a basketball game between the Piggott and Rector "All-Stars"...
