Baldwin to walk on as RazorbackPosted Thursday, May 7, 2009, at 9:27 AM
Number two is moving up to the next level next year. Mohawk senior Daniel Baldwin, who has been invited to walk-on to the Razorback football team this fall, is pictured with two of the men who have helped him reach his goal of being a Hog; assistant football coach Michael Harrell (left) and PHS head football coach Dave Hendrix.
Baldwin, a three-year starter for the Tribe at quarterback and defensive back, has been invited to try to make the team after two official visits to the campus. The news came this week, as an assistant coach visited Daniel at PHS and extended the invitation to be a "preferred" walk-on for the Hogs. Baldwin, son of Danny Baldwin and Suzie Morris of Piggott, has been a multi-sport standout for the Tribe..with the main emphasis the past two years on football. We'll have more details in the May 13 edition, including comments from Baldwin and his PHS coaches. Congrats, DB |
